The food was ok, feels like warteg in indo, y'know.. very authentic very homey.. But, not much flavour for me (the saltiness). the balado also not really spicy, maybe try to keep it safe for non Indonesian eater Ps : too bad cant buy the main food/lauk only.

Menu is on the shopfront- several A4 poster of the food options with its photo. Iga bakar- grilled fragrantly, slightly spicy, very tender. Nasi tin ayam-savoury chicken that is delicious, braised with tinge of sweetness. We both had a clean plate at the end. Service was fast, with a buzzer given to alert when food is ready.

Food quality and taste has been consistent and delicious, and good portion. Favs are the sambal eggplant, sambal potato, fish, bakso, ayam, curry vegetables, green sambal. Rice cooked to the right texture. The staffs are always friendly. Definitely worth the drive here.

I've been going to Ivy's Food for about 6 months when my love affair with Indonesian cuisine started. The food has always been delicious. Yesterday I ordered Ayam Penyet and Asem Sayur to take home. I really could not believe how good it was, it was outstanding. Think I'll have to go back today . The ladies serving are 2nd to no one, truly beautiful.

I went to Spencer village with my husband looking for something to eat for our dinner. then I stopped at Bakoel Indonesia. I bought a pempek Palembang for take away. The owners are so friendly, bubbly and nice. Both of them are giving me an exceptional customer service . I’m definitely recommend this place for anyone who read this review. Inexpensive for quality foods. A little Indonesian gem in the south of river of Perth.

Sambal-icious! My fave vendor at Spencer Village by some margin. We usually go for the combos with rice, choosing from rendang, fried fish, eggplant balado, choko & casava leaves curry, stir-fried potato with beef tendon, and other tasty morsels! Just looking at photos of previous meals here makes my mouth water! They are very generous with free sambal hijau & belacan too. Seriously delicious!

Order beef tendon, beef rendang and eggplants. Nicely cooked and flavorful. Homemade chilli is spicy and go perfectly paired with beef tendon and rice. Will be back for more.
